LIGHTHOUSE CHARTER SCHOOL

The Lighthouse Charter School administration looked to expand its existing campus with the addition of a sports gymnasium and an additional classroom wing. The additions consist of adding 8 new classrooms and a sports gymnasium that totals 15,445 SF to the benefit of all grade levels attending the facility, in which grades 1st through 8th are enrolled.

The defining addition adjacent to the existing building creates an encouraging outdoor learning experience for the faculty and students. A towering landmark was designed to establish a beacon of light to give guidance, hope, and encourage students that an education will guide them to success, as a “lighthouse” does with a ship at sea.
